And Do We Have Music!

The Austin Organ at Blue Point Congregational Church is the solid rock on which the music at church is founded on.

The Organists of Blue Point Church are Nancy Landsman and Everett Henry II.

Nancy is a member of the American Guild Of Organists,  Portland Maine Chapter, and plays the first, third and fourth Sundays.  She is the leader and overseer of all music at the church.  Her new baby at the church is the new Yamaha Electronic Digital Piano which gives some diversity and variety to the music at the church.  Nancy is also the Choir Director and is building the membership of the choir one member at a time.

Everett is a member of the American Theatre Organ Society, Pine Tree Chapter, and plays the second and fifth Sundays when there are five Sundays in the month.  He is also the technical person of the organ seeing to the little things that he can take care of, like spot tuning, finding rattles and correcting them.  Everett also tries, as time is available, to be on hand  to help with the professional tuning and maintenance of the organ by Nick Orso Organ Services.

The schedule for Nancy and Everett is not a hard and fast schedule.  They are always aware of the needs of the church and each other and adjust the schedule to suit those needs.  

Nancy leads the "all Great & Small" choir on Family Sunday once a month.  This choir includes the adult choir, children and members who would like to join them.  The children are featured in the morning worship at various times of the year.  You can find out when they will be participating in the morning worship by checking the This Week's Announcements  and Calendar pages.
